CORE OBJECTIVES OF TLRDS.
The Tagin Language Research and Development Society (TLRDS) is dedicated to the preservation, advancement, and institutionalization of the Tagin language through rigorous linguistic research, systematic script development, and inclusive community-based capacity building. Guided by its foundational motto—Preserve, Promote, and Protect the Tagin Language —the Society serves as a catalyst for cultural and intellectual revitalization.
While the detailed objectives of TLRDS are formally enshrined in its constitution, its core mandates

Linguistic Research: Conducting in-depth phonological, morphological, and syntactic studies of the Tagin language to inform script and curriculum development.
Script Development and Standardization: Refining and promoting the Modified Roman Script tailored to Tagin tonal and phonetic characteristics.
Resource Creation: Developing primers, folk literature, and educational materials in Tagin for children and adult learners.
Training and Capacity Building: Organizing workshops, writer training programs, and literacy initiatives to empower community members.
Institutional Collaboration: Partnering with national and international organizations for technical guidance and joint research.
Advocacy and Policy Engagement: Representing Tagin linguistic interests in cultural, educational, and governmental forums to secure recognition and support.
